The Nota 3, a direct evolution of the 260 X model, is the larger of the two bookshelf loudspeakers in the refreshed Nota series. It is an ideal choice for audio enthusiasts who, due to spatial constraints, cannot accommodate full-sized floorstanding loudspeakers, yet demand a rich, full-bodied sound at an accessible price point. By employing a 170mm mid-bass driver coupled with an efficient motor system, the loudspeaker achieves a surprisingly expansive soundstage and excellent dynamic
impact. Furthermore, the rear-firing bass-reflex port has been meticulously tuned to ensure optimal low-frequency extension in typical domestic listening environments.

The latest generation of the Nota series perfectly illustrates how a minimalist, modernized aesthetic can seamlessly integrate into any interior decor.
Attention is immediately drawn to the meticulously finished side panels, adorned with an elegant vinyl wrap available in black oak or classic oak finishes.
The remainder of the cabinet is protected by a durable, matte-black PVC coating that is highly resistant to scratches and blemishes. Subtly contoured edges lend the enclosure a sense of visual lightness without compromising its timeless, classic character. This clean aesthetic is perfectly complemented by elegant trim rings on the front baffle, which discreetly conceal the driver mounting hardware.

High-frequency reproduction is handled by a 26mm textile dome tweeter, driven by a compact yet strong neodymium magnet and supported by a radial damping chamber. Its integration into a custom-profiled waveguide significantly improves acoustic dispersion within the listening space.
The mid-bass frequencies are entrusted to a cone formulated from a mica-polypropylene blend – a recipe successfully utilized in the premium Tesi series.
This solution, combined with a redesigned surround and a highly capable motor structure, guarantees tonal purity, transient accuracy, and exceptional midrange articulation.

The rigid MDF cabinet of the Nota 3 features internal cross-bracing and precisely selected damping materials that effectively eliminate unwanted cabinet resonance. The implementation of an substantially oversized ferrite motor system in the mid-bass section translates to a more powerful and tightly controlled bass response. The design is rounded out  by a redesigned crossover network utilizing properly selected components, such as air-core inductors in tweeter’s section, guaranteeing smooth treble reproduction. Thanks to its friendly impedance curve, this loudspeaker pairs effortlessly with virtually any amplifier on the market, delivering a highly engaging acoustic experience for the listener.
