After the tremendous success of Dedalus Speaker Elite, we wanted to expand the Elite concept of Dedalus also to the power cord, which, as happened to the speaker, was born at the same time as the introduction of theInvictus Power Reference, from which many aspects are derived. The goal was to a High-End cable in the middle, between the excellent Dedalus Power and the outlier Invictus, employing some innovative technologies in combination with proven solutions, yet allowing a reduction in cost.

The result is a major improvement over Dedalus, especially in control and timbre, which is better characterized and natural. The soundstage is perfectly in focus, with all the performers in the right place, without emphasis and with the right distance and separation. Dedalus Elite is an ideal companion for top-level electronics, as it returns a balanced sound that does not fatigue the listener and enraptures him or her with details he or she did not know existed before.

Dedalus Power Elite is a fusion of Dedalus and Invictus Power , both in terms of technologies and materials. In fact, the cable architecture and connectors are the same as Dedalus Power , however, it is made by employing some technologies developed by Invictus Reference. From our top of the line it inherits the double R-TEC Polymer dielectric that allows to significantly lower the electrical capacitance and make the electrical signal less subject to the presence of the shields. This aspect allows for a more balanced tone and greater control of powered electronics.

The other major upgrade lies in the heart of the product, namely in the conductors, which increase to 6.8 ^mm2 in 7N MARC Copper, decreasing the diamenter of the single strand by 10 percent compared to Dedalus, increasing the number of individual wires that make up each conductor to 588, for a total capillaries on the entire cable that is close to 1,800.

The geometry of Dedalus Power Elite is twisted, with each individual conductor shielded. The double shielding is completed with a high-coverage tinned copper braid covering the entire cable and the introduction of RNR (Ricable Noise Reduction). As is well known, shielding is like antibiotics, that is, it gives a benefit, but also generates contraindications to the signal. Through all the work done on the new Elite, we were able to further lower the electrical capacitance and better isolate the conductor carrying the electricity from the shields, which continue to give benefit, but affect the electrical signal much less than the standard Dedalus .

Even from a purely aesthetic point of view, there have been changes, but they echo the past. In fact, we have adopted the excellent R-TEC connectors making the final aesthetics similar to the Dedalus Speaker Elite. These connectors have a non-magnetic shell turned from solid that incorporates a ferrite block to repel all interference at the most neuralgic point of the connection. The contacts are all solid Copper, slightly oversized so that the connector seal remains optimal at all times.
