INTERIOR WIRELESS/ POWER/ AUDIO/ IN-WALL/ IN-CEILING
Never before have multi-functional loudspeaker systems offered the audiophile performance of the three models in the Magnat Interior series. Versatile loudspeakers have long been available for a variety of applications. But always, above a certain level, compromises became inevitable. It might have been in the quality of construction, the actual range of applications or must usually the ultimate sound quality achievable. Be it in workmanship, practical applications or the quality of sound. All of these constraints are now of the past.
The 130mm mid-bass chassis units with aluminium cones have been developed from the legendary Magnat Quantum series. The fabric on the 25mm tweeter has been coated with ceramic particles. The Interior loudspeakers operate using the bass reflex principle and even deliver a contoured precise bass when installed on shallow book shelves or wall mounted because the bass reflex port has been incorporated into the baffle on the front. The interior of the high-quality ABS case incorporates MDF reinforcements that stabilize the case and suppress undesirable resonance. The loudspeaker range - available in AUDIO, POWER and WIRELESS configurations - has been designed for all conceivable applications: The Interior Wireless model is for music connoiseurs who need flexibility. Like the Power it is an active/passive combination but the Wireless version has a 2.4 GHz transmitter and corresponding receiver. There is no need for any cabling from the amplifier to the speakers. The music signals are transmitted without interference by radio at high musical levels. The volume and sources may also be selected very easily by remote control. So now it's simple to enjoy music outside without having to shift the entire stereo system outdoors.
Interior Audio is a "classic" passive stereo loudspeaker and may be easily operated anywhere from a normal stereo system.
Interior Power has been aptly named because it is a master/slave, i.e. active/passive, combination. A powerful amplifier has been installed in one of the loudspeakers which is thus able to forward its signals to a second passive speaker. This is perfect for semi-professional music studios and demanding music playback from PCs and MP3 players.
All models have wall fixings meaning that users can choose to hang them on the wall, or otherwise locate them on shelves, alongside PC's. They work well as semi-professional studio monitors or may simply be taken out on to the patio in summer. This blend of materials has an extremely high degree of stiffness and durability and is otherwise used in the production of bullet-proof vests. Sonically, a very clear and dynamic sound is produced. The tweeter of the In-Wall models is a 24mm dome, which can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically, enabling the sound dispersion to be optimised even in very difficult spatial conditions. The In-Ceiling loudspeakers have two coaxial inbuilt tweeters for wider dispersion. Flush mounted installation within walls and ceilings is simplified considerably by an ingenious clamping system. The cable connectors are solid, gold-plated binding posts which ensure a reliable contact is preserved even over many years of use.
